Sandwich fabric with right sides together. Line ruler at a 45 degree angle to the fabric (yellow straight line). |

Draw from the corner of the fabric. Draw parallel lines at the line spacing distance printed on your template. Don't obsess about accuracy! | |

Each template indicates the spacing needed for that size. | |
SEW |

Sew a 1/4" inch seams on each side of the drawn diagonal lines. Again, don't obsess about accuracy! |
CUT |

Cut strips apart on drawn lines. Again, don't obsess about accuracy! |

Align template with long side butted up against seam line. Cut on short sides of template. The cuts on the short sides of the template are what make this extra accurate, so if you must obsess about accuracy - do it now. | |

Flip template (OR flip the fabric strip over) so that the long side is butted up against the opposite seam line and one short side is aligned on already cut side. Cut other short side. | |
